2024 Spring 18 & Over Men/Women Weekend/Weekday

Players must be 18 years or older at the time of registration to be eligible to play in this league. The 2023 Year-End ratings will be used.  Men’s and Women’s league tennis for weekends and weekdays (see table). For your particular division, you will play on the same day and time each week, unless scheduling conflicts dictate otherwise. At least 3 teams required in the 3.5 & 4.0 levels.  2.5, 3.0, 4.5 and 5.0 can have a two team league. (Note: Plus leagues are no longer being offered.)

Registration Deadline/Initial Roster Due: March 18, 2024

Season Runs: April 9, 2024 – June 30, 2024
Last date to submit scores for playoff consideration is July 7, 2024. (July 14 for all others.)

Format: 2 singles, 3 doubles, (1 singles, 2 doubles for 2.5, 5.0 and Open Divisions)

Playoffs: July 13-14, location TBD

Playoff Format:

Women’s 2.5. The teams that finish at the top of the standings in Division 1 and Division 2 will advance to the local playoff. The winner of the local playoff will advance to Sectionals.

Women’s 3.0: The teams that finish at the top of the standings in Weekday Divisions 1, 2, and 3, and Weekend Divisions 1 and 2 will advance to the local playoff. Teams will be seeded based on games won percentage with the top 2 seeds receiving a quarterfinal bye. The best second place team based on games won percentage will also advance and be seeded 6th. (The second place team will not be matched with the team from their division.) The winner of the local playoff will advance to Sectionals.

Women’s 3.5: The teams that finish at the top of the standings in Weekday Divisions 1, 2, and 3, and Weekend Divisions 1 and 2 will advance to the local playoff. Teams will be seeded based on games won percentage with the top 2 seeds receiving a quarterfinal bye. The best second place team based on games won percentage will also advance and be seeded 6th. Women’s 4.0: The teams that finish at the top of the standings in Weekday Divisions 1 and 2, and Weekend Divisions 1 and 2 will advance to the local playoff. Weekday 1 will play Weekday 2, and Weekend 1 will play Weekend 2. The winner of the local playoff will advance to Sectionals.

Women’s 4.5. The teams that finish at the top of the standing in the Weekday league and the Weekend league will advance to the local playoff. The winner of the local playoff will advance to Sectionals.

Men’s 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5: The top two finishers in Division 1 and Division 2 will advance to the local playoff. Division 1 first place will play Division 2 second place, and vice versa. The winner of the local playoff will advance to Sectionals.
