The Capital Area Tennis Association (CATA) is marking its 50th Anniversary by offering the community a special Free Day of Tennis on Mon., October 14, 2024 (Indigenous Peoples’ Day).
As part of its non-profit mission to promote and support tennis for all, CATA invites everyone to grab – or borrow! – a racquet and have their court fees waived the entire day at participating public facilities across Austin, including:
Austin Tennis Center – 7800 Johnny Morris Rd, Austin, TX 78724
Caswell Tennis Center – 2312 Shoal Creek Blvd, Austin, TX 78705, 512-478-6268
Pharr Tennis Center – 4201 Brookview Rd, Austin, TX 78722, 512-477-7773
South Austin Tennis Center – 1000 Cumberland Rd, Austin, TX 78704, 512-222-7260
Williamson County Tennis Center – 210 Borho Dr, Round Rock, TX 78681, 512-246-1807
Players will need to reserve their court – either online, or by calling the facility – which can be done up to two days in advance of the event. On the day of the event, players will also be encouraged to scan a QR code to enter a drawing to win a case of free tennis balls (one player per facility), and a grand prize of a pair of ATX Open tickets.
