USTA Texas Sectionals will be hosted at John Newcombe’s Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th. There will be over 70 teams from all over Texas competing to become the Sectional Championship team! 9 teams will be representing CATA this weekend – best of luck!

The Rough Hollow Junior Tennis Team (JTT), hailing from the Lake Travis/Austin area, recently wrapped up an exciting season that perfectly captured the camaraderie and competitive spirit of junior team tennis. Coached by a few dedicated dads, this fun-loving squad is a blend of siblings and friends, turning the often solitary sport of tennis into a thrilling team activity. The roster featured the Enloe siblings—Luca (9), Riley (12), and Micah (14)—who competed alongside the Chin brothers, Charlie (15) and Lucas (13), as well as friends Will Johnson (12) and Holly Tracy (15). After battling through several competitive matches against tough opponents, the team pulled off a dramatic victory, clinching the division title by a single line over the formidable, highly stacked McNeil team. This incredible first-place finish was a true team effort, achieved only through critical wins delivered by every member throughout the season.
