They will not be allowed to participate. Tournament play is intended for Saturday and will only start on Friday IF the number of entrants dictate.

    All matches will be played at Georgetown Country Club. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before scheduled match time and be ready to play when you check in.

    This tournament is part of the 2017 CATA Gran Prix Junior Tour Tournament Series for city ranking purposes; a local non-sanctioned junior tournament. Tournaments are intended to be a one day Saturday event unless rain dictates Sunday play. Other divisions with large draws may start Friday evening.
    FORMAT: 12-18’s – 8 game pro-set, no ad scoring. 7 pt tiebreaker at 7-7. Players are guaranteed two matches.
    10 & under GREEN – full court (78′), green dot ball, any length racquet. Each match is two short sets of first to 4 games, no-ad scoring, sudden death game at 3-3. A 7-point tie break is played if each player wins a set.
    10 & under ORANGE – 60 ft court, orange low compression ball, 25″ maximum racquet length. Each match is two short sets of first to 4 games, no-ad scoring, sudden death game at 3-3. A 7-point tie break is played if each player wins a set.

    Participation in Junior Tour makes CATA membership automatic. No additional membership enrollment required. Events: Non-qualified Boys/Girls Singles ages 5-16. Entry fee $30 ($27 per player + $3 non-refundable TennisLink fee).

This tournament is by invitation only. However, YOU MUST COMPLETE ON-LINE REGISTRATION AND REGISTER IF YOU HOPE TO RECEIVE AN INVITATION TO PLAY THIS TOURNAMENT. No entry fee will be charged unless your player is selected to participate. For this reason,ALL PLAYERS, AND ESPECIALLY THE TOP 12 in each age division should consider registering for this event prior to the deadline. ONLY THOSE PLAYERS THAT RECEIVE A WRITTEN OFFICIAL INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE MAY PLAY. This Junior Masters tournament will serve as the BG10s Orange Ball City Wide Championship with trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place players in both girls and boys 10s Orange ball. For all other Masters events, you are competing for advancement to the GRAN PRIX STATEWIDE CHAMPIONSHIP HELD AT NEWKS. There you will compete against other Gran Prix cities/teams to earn the title STATE CHAMPIONS!
Those Masters players who finish in 3rd and 4th place may serve as possible alternates for advancement to NEWKS Statewide Championship Tournament representing Austin, Texas.
