The CATA office is currently seeking a new Director of Leagues to join our team. If you are interested in this position, please read the job description below.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Leagues manages all aspects of USTA Adult Tennis Leagues for CATA. This position is primarily an in-office position, with some required off-site weekend events throughout the year. Remote work opportunities may become available once trained and successfully demonstrated working independently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Leagues is responsible for all aspects of adult leagues, including, but not limited to:
Scheduling of leagues, assigning team numbers, coordinating with local clubs and pros
Administering local playoffs and Sectional advancement communications
Managing league events; Combo, Tri-level, Lonestar, and captains’ meetings
Managing budget, prize allocation, and league supplies inventory
Maintaining up to date data on CATA league web pages
Facilitating UT Whitaker reservations and billing
The Director of Leagues will assist with CATA events, such as: Annual Membership Meeting, Annual Junior Banquet, the Adult Masters Tournament and other large events, as needed. Will also be the staff liaison to the Leagues Committee.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
Excellent customer service skills.
Effective communicator
Organized and detail-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft and Google software
Strong multi-tasker with ability to adjust priorities as necessary
Some lifting of tennis equipment and supplies may be necessary
Must be able to work several weekends throughout the year
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate. College preferred
Experience with USTA leagues preferred

Based on Experience
Mileage in service of the organization (excluding travel to/from home/work) is reimbursable at the federal annual rate.
