2010 Spring Senior Doubles tennis is played on Saturday mornings (9am).  Players must be 50 years or older by December 31, 2010 to be eligible to play in this league.  Teams are comprised of all men or all women with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 players per team* (2 players may be added to a roster after the start of the season).  Men's and women's teams compete in separate leagues in the following divisions of NTRP ratings: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5.  Each weekly match is 3 lines of doubles.  For each division, the team with the best match win/loss record will be eligible to compete in the Texas Sectionals tournament (September 17-19, 2010 in Tyler, TX).  Please note that for a player to be eligible for sectionals, he/she must have played in at least two local level matches (one default may count).  For nationals, at least three matches (three local level OR two local and one sectional but NO defaults can count) is required for a player to advance.
